Creative Article Summary There are different types of creative tasks. There are "little-c" tasks and "Big-C" tasks. The little-c tasks are what you would expect, the smaller, less monumental ideas. Big-C tasks are ones that take more effort and planning and can have greater influence. After a study was conducted, it was found that people who already have creative hobbies tend to be more creative in general. Brain scans showed that these people had a strong "high-creative network". This larger network is made up of three main networks: default, executive, and salience. This conclusion showed that some people are better "wired" to be more creative. Post #1 - Profile & Picture

Image
Hi! My name is Grace Gilmore. I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I like the beach, traveling, and hanging out with friends. My favorite sports to watch are hockey and F1. I'm a film major, and I love movies and tv shows. I don't have a specific favorite, I like a large genre of things. My favorite part of being a film major is video editing. I like seeing all the different parts come together in the end.              In this class I hope to learn more about how we as a society read and utilize different forms of media. I also look forward to learning how different media has evolved over the decades. By the end I aim to be well versed in many forms of media arts and understand the history behind them.
